The Resort

Cala Millor, one of the largest resorts on the East Coast, has been a popular choice since tourism first began on the Island. With its superb 2km golden sandy beach, a wide selection of accommodation and an abundance of places to eat, it continues to be a firm favourite with families and couples.

Even although the resort has rapidly increased in size with the tourist boom, the original character and atmosphere has been retained. People love the vast variety of shops, cafes and bars some of which still serve traditional Tapas.

In the past the main resort visitors were from Germany. Many families bought property in the area for use for holidays, retirement or for permanent residences. In recent years there has been an increase in tourists from Britain, France, Scandinavian Countries, Holland and Eastern Europe with many Russians and Chinese taking the opportunity to buy property in the area with a golden visa.
