The Resort

Cala Millor is one of the largest resorts on the East Coast of Majorca.

This resort has been a popular choice since tourism first began on the Island and has grown considerably since the tourist boom during the 1970/80s.

With its superb long golden sandy beach, the wide selection of hotels, shops and restaurants, it proves to be a firm destination favourite for many people.

Even although the resort has increased in size over the years, Cala Millor, in the Municipality of Sant Llorenc de Cardassar, still retains its original character and atmosphere with many Spanish tapas bars and Spanish resident community.

In the past, Cala Millor was popular with tourists in particular from Germany. Many bought property in the area for use as holiday homes, retirement or for

permanent residences. In more recent years there has been an increase in tourists from France, Scandinavian Countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway), Holland and Eastern Europe. Also since 2013 many more people have visited from Russia and China, some even buying up some of the property bargains following the credit crisis.
