Cala San Vicent (Vicente) is a small and beautiful resort found a short drive from the town of Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa (Municipality Pollensa).


The resort itself is nestled within the Tramuntana mountainous region close to Formentor, at the most northernly point of Mallorca. The scenery from the little beaches is stunningly beautiful and you can see this from the pictures below.


There are four small beaches, Cala Barques, Cala Clara, Cala Molins and Cala Carbo.

This resort will suit those tourists who are searching for a 'get-away-from-it-all' type of holiday. As the resort is built into the hillside, we would recommend that it's not best suited for the disabled traveller!

Shopping


There are a limited number of shops but you will find a supermarket selling freshly baked bread and basic provisions. If you need a larger variety of goods you will find a Lidl and Eroski (chain Supermarket) on the road between Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa.

If you need a Chemist, you will find one facing the Hotel Don Pedro at Cala Barques.

If you need Car Hire, you can arrange this in the Hotel/Apartment reception or if you prefer you can arrange this before you arrive by booking on the internet

and collecting the car at Palma Airport. There are local buses which travel to and from Cala San Vicente also.

You can visit the Tourist Information Office in in Cala San Vicente in Calle Temporal 17 for information on the local area, this is near to Cala Molins Beach in the Car Park area. Visit Pollensa and Puerto de Pollensa

The market is on Sunday mornings and this is a very nice trip. You could also visit Puerto de Pollensa from Cala San Vicente, again it is only a few kilometres and the market is held there every Wednesday morning.

Although the road along the mountainous region is very steep at certain points with many bends, the journey is very worthwhile. From Soller you could also take a trip to Sa Calobra.
