Palma
El Corte Ingles C&A in Palma
In Palma city centre you will find the department stores of El Corte Ingles which very much resemble a large Debenhams. There are two, both in the city and the largest is on the Avenida Alexandre Rossello and the other on the street Avenida Jaime (Jaume) III, just along from C&A, yes the store which disappeared in Britain many years ago is still operational here!
In the City Centre, you will also find other stores such as Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Boss, Zara including Zara Man and Home, Mango and H&M
There are many small shops specialising in shoes, bags, designer stores and not forgetting numerous souvenir shops.
Home-made Mallorca Products, Embutits, Cheeses, Wines
Colmado Santo Domingo
If you are looking for some Home-made Mallorcanproducts you can visit this well known shop Colmado Santo
Domingo in Calle Santa Domingo, 1 not far from Paseo
de Borne
You will find a selection of Embutits (Mallorcan sausages), Cheeses, Sobrasada spread and even fig bread.
Well worth a visit!
La Pajarita
You will find this traditional Mallorcan shop selling various Mallorcan products in Calle San Nicolas, 4
(between the Palace de Almundaina and Plaza Major)
You will find Wines, Cheeses and the famous
Mallorcan sausages as well as a range of pastries and cakes.
At the very end of the Port road in Palma, travelling towards Andratx, you will find Porto Pi which is the last stop for shopping before leaving Palma for the southern resorts. This is the only largest indoor shopping Mall in Majorca. In Porto Pi you have a selection of chain stores such as Zara inc Zara Home, Shana, Etam, Accessorize and also individual boutiques including some designer shops. Both indoors and out there are a selection of cafes and restaurants and there is also a cinema. You will also find a Carrefour (superstore) on the lower ground level. Opening Times 1000-2200

Weekly markets are held in most resorts and towns throughout Mallorca.
You will find everything from home grown produce to sunglasses and bags (designer of course!)

(2nd hand market held in Consell, you will find all kinds of second hand good there- be prepared to haggle!)
Makro
You will find Makro just off to the right-hand side of the motorway when travelling from Palma to Inca/Alcudia. This store is very similar to those in Britain. If you do not have a card, you could ask for a day-pass.

Ikea
This Ikea store stocks mostly everything in the catalogue but guys beware as the store becomes very busy between 1600-2100 when most of the local Palma & Mallorca residents shop!
Ikea can be found just off the Manacor road (MA-15) on the way to Palma. Opening Times 1000-2200 (Closed Sunday)

Carrefour
Large chain store (hypermarket) selling everything from groceries to furniture and car tyres.
Carrefour has stores at Col D'en Rabassa (Carrefour Planet), Porto Pi & also in Palma at Junction 5B on the Via de Cintura while heading for Andratx.

Carrefour Express has now opened a store in Puerto de Alcudia selling groceries, fresh & frozen food etc. Opening Times 1000-2300 (Closed Sunday)
Eroski
You will find these supermarkets all over the island and they stock an excellent selection of fresh meat & fish together with all other household necessities.
You will find one of the largest Eroski Supermarkets in Sa Coma, this is a Hypermarket.

Hiper Centro Manacor
This is Hiper Centro in Manacor, the largest store of the Hiper Supermarket chain in Mallorca.
You will also find stores in
Cala Millor, Felanitx, Inca, Porreres and Puerto Pollensa
You will find an excellent selection of fresh meat and fish together with household groceries and electrical goods.

Es Brico
This is Es Brico in Manacor (part of Hiper Centro)
Es Brico is a large DIY store something like B&Q
in Britain. You will find paint, plumbing, electrical goods, fencing, as well as household goods and a good variety of garden furniture and plants

Lidl
You will find various Lidl stores dotted throughout the Island, they sell similar products to those in other countries at reasonable prices. (current stores, Palma, Manacor, Inca, Palma Nova, Cala Millor, Cala Ratjada, Andratx)

Confort electrical stores are found in Palma
Inca and Manacor.
They stock all kinds of electrical domestic goods

This store has recently replaced PC City at junction 5b on the Palma/Andratx motorway.nt!
You will find a great selection of PCs, Printers, TVs,

This is a supermarket chain

Alcampo
Is a a superstore selling a huge range of groceries, household & electrical items.
There is also a range of shops in the mall.
Alcampo is the the commercial centre which is off the Palma to Inca/Alcudia motorway.

Leroy Merlin
A giant DIY store selling everything from nails to bathroom suites.
There are two, one at Junction 5B on the Palma to Andratx motorway and the other at Alcampo, beside McDonalds.

Decathlon (sports shop)
Decathlon stocks all sports goods including clothing, everything from trainers to punch bags & canoes.
There are two, one just off the Via Centura motorway, come off at Son Hugo and the other at Al Campo in Marratxi.

Festival Park
Festival Park is a fashion outlet, cinema and ice rink (in season) and can be found just off the motorway Palma to Inca Junction 8. Here you will find many bargains from stores such as Mango, Camper, Miss Sixty, Diesel, Nike and more recently an El Corte Ingles Outlet. You will also find a good selection of restaurants from Italian, American, Greek and also McDonalds! Opening Times 1000-2200 Some shops open Sundays!
Son Bugadelles
Son Bugadelles is an industrial estate near Santa Ponsa and Palma Nova/Magalluf with a range of goods for sale. You will find Boats, Furniture, DIY stores etc.
