Fuel prices in Majorca

A car is a great transport option for getting around the Island and there are some good deals in Mallorca particularly when reserving in advance.

Tourists often prefer having a car for the duration of their holiday rather than using public transport. There are many car-hire companies operating from Palma Airport and throughout the island. You can book direct online or you can hire when you need transport in a resort. You will find many models to choose from all at different prices depending on the season (low / high).

There are plenty of garages around the Island and some are open 24 hours. Once you get used to driving on the right hand side of the road, it's easy!

Car Hire

Unless you intend to use the car for touring Majorca - don't pay for a full tank of petrol

when collecting the vehicle.

Opt to return the vehicle with the same level of fuel, this can save a considerable amount of money!

Only park in designated parking areas! Never leave the vehicle on a yellow line!

If you do this, you run the risk of being towed away with a huge penalty fine to be paid to the Ajuntament (Municipality) to retrieve the car, not a pleasant experience!.
