Arranging a Wedding

If you have lived in Mallorca for 2 years and if you or your partner have Residencia (documentation that you officially live in on the Island) you can officially have your Wedding in Mallorca.

If this is not the case, it is necessary to complete the marriage paperwork in your country of residence (civil marriage). Following this you can arrange to have a Wedding celebration here on the Island. This can include a service to be held in a Church where you can repeat your vows, followed by a blessing of the rings. You will also receive a momento of the occasion!

There are numerous beautiful Wedding venues on the Island and with a little preparation you can have a wonderful Wedding experience. Your guests can also enjoy the benefit of attending the Wedding and have a holiday at the same time!

Christenings/Baptisms

It is also possible to have your baby Christened or Baptised in Mallorca. Firstly you will need select a Church. Make an appointment to speak to the Father who will make the necessary Christening reservation. This can be done in many local Churches around the Island of Mallorca. The ceremony is beautiful and at the end of the service the birth certificate will be signed with the details of the Christening/Baptism.
