Soller Train Journey - Ferrocarril Station
The Soller train operates from the Ferrocarril Station on a separate ground-level railway track directly beside the Intermodal Station at Eusebio Estada 1, Palma.
When you board the carriages of the train you feel a real sense of history, especially when the whistle blows as the train makes its way slowly along the old vintage railway line.
There are a few local stops along the way, first is Son Sardina before reaching the town of Bunyola. The train then continues into the mountainous Tramuntana region (Sierra de Alfàbia), through 13 tunnels, over several bridges and the 5 point Soller Viaduct. The scenery along the twists and turns of the mountains is breathtaking and because of the slow pace of the train, you have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the views.
When you reach Soller Station you can take the connecting Tram to the Port (Puerto Soller) or perhaps first enjoy a coffee in the in one of the lovely cafes near the Station or in Soller town Square.

Freshly caught fish would be packed in ice and sent to Soller before being distributed to other towns and villages around Mallorca.
The Tram has 12 stops before reaching the final destination at Puerto de Soller - La Payesa.
