Holiday Rental Terms and Conditions



Mallorca Now SLU, commercialises holiday property on behalf of the owners of the properties featured on our websites. Your contract to rent is with the Property Owner. Mallorca Now SLU acts as an intermediary between the two parties (You, the Renter and The Property Owner).

Privacy: We will use your email address to contact you regarding your enquiry and possible future contact regarding offers etc. We will not pass this on to any 3rd parties, in accordance with our privacy policy.

Booking and Payment conditions
All prices quoted are in Euros. Electricity and water costs are included in the price of the property.

Once you have chosen a property, please submit an enquiry in order to confirm availability for the dates you wish to reserve. After we have confirmed availability and price, you can request us to provisionally reserve the property for up to 48hrs. Once you make this request we will send you a rental contract which should be completed, signed and returned to us by email within this 48hr period should you wish to reserve the property.

Upon receipt of the completed rental contract we will confirm your reservation. Once we confirm your reservation, a deposit of 25% of the total cost is payable upon booking via bank transfer. The balance is payable 8 weeks before the arrival date also via bank transfer.

If the reservation is made less than 8 weeks prior to your arrival date then the full amount must be paid at the time of booking via bank transfer.

We will advise you when to make payment.

Please send us proof of payments made. Upon receipt of your payment we will send you an email confirmation. Any bank charges incurred will be at your expense.

A £100 or Euro security deposit is payable on arrival. This is returned via bank transfer following your departure, on receipt of keys and after the apartment has been checked etc.

You are responsible for payment of the price of the holiday rental and the compliance of members of your party. Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under 24 years of age at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason.

The number of people staying at the property must not exceed the number agreed on the rental contract. Parties, functions or Stag/Hen events are not permitted.

Should you require a cot & highchair pack (for infants under 2 years of age), this can be arranged in most properties, at an extra cost of 2€ per night, providing it is requested and confirmed at the time of booking.

We highly recommend the purchase of complete travel insurance for every member of your party once you have confirmed your booking as this will cover a number of eventualities including the need to cancel your holiday.

Arrivals and Departures
Directions and arrival information will be sent to you by email approx. 2 weeks before your arrival date. We will also arrange a time to visit you with information and to collect your passport information and the Balearic Tourist Tax.

Check In time: The property will be available after 14:00hrs on the day of your arrival. A late check-in is possible – please advise us.

Check Out time: You must vacate the property by 10:00hrs on the day of departure. On some occasions we can offer a late check out.

N.B. The property will be clean at the beginning of the rental period, and you are asked to kindly leave it in a good state of cleanliness and general order at the end of the period. We have the right to charge for any additional cleaning necessary at the time of departure should the property not be left in fair condition, i.e. stained sheets, curtains, etc. The cleaning at the end of your stay does not include washing up or disposal of rubbish.

The Property
All contents are accurate at the time of publishing although minor differences between the photograph/illustration/text used and the actual property can arise as a result of upgrading.

Properties are rented furnished and equipped. You are responsible for any damage or breakages which may occur to the property or its contents during your occupation. You must inform us immediately of any damage or breakages.

Where the property has air conditioning it is understood that the use will be respectful and that the units are never left on when the property is unoccupied or when doors or windows are open.

All properties are equipped with sufficient bed linen and bathroom towels for the number of guests. Beach towels are not included. A washing machine is available for use in the property.

At times it may be necessary to access to the property for repairs / renewals. Please note that this will be avoided where possible, and will be limited to a minimum.

Maintenance of the lifts, garden and pool are carried out at the complex on a regular basis.

Liability
Neither we nor the owner of the property shall be liable for any loss, breach or delay due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, including though not limited to a) fault or negligence of third parties, b) force majeure or other situation beyond our control, c) theft within the property, d) incorrect use of pools, playgrounds, balconies or other facilities on the premises, e) refund for unused days occupancy due to changes in your travel arrangements or personal circumstances, f) explosion, flood, tempest, fire, or accident, war or threat of war, civil disturbance, acts of terrorism, restrictions, regulations, by-laws, or measures of any kind on the part of any governmental or local authority, strikes, lock-outs, or other industrial actions or disputes or adverse weather conditions.

Some facilities, such as safes, are provided free of charge however there will be additional charge for a replacement key (where supplied) should this be lost.

In the event of you losing the key for the property or locking yourself out of the property, a charge will be made for a call-out/replacement key. In the case that a locksmith has to be called, you will be liable for the cost.

Behaviour
Community rules should be adhered to at all times

Good behaviour is expected from and any members of your party while on holiday. In cases of serious misconduct, we reserve the right to terminate your holiday or that of any member of your party. If we do so, we shall have no further responsibility or liability to you. If you or any member of your party wilfully, recklessly or negligently causes any damage to any property or person, you agree to indemnify us against any loss suffered by us (including legal costs), arising from such damage. Failure to pay for serious damage that you or your party has inflicted on a property can result in the local authorities called to intervene.

Cancellation Policy
In order to secure your dates, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost is payable upon booking.  The balance payment is due 8 weeks before the arrival date.  If the arrival date commences within 8 weeks the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
In the event of cancellation due to accident, illness, bereavement etc we can provide necessary documents for your insurance company.

Balearic Tourist Tax
The Balearic Islands have applied a tourist tax which is payable by every person over 16 years of age for each night they spend in a property. You will be required to pay this upon arrival. The rate is 2€ per adult per night for the first 8 nights reducing to €1 per night afterwards. Tourist Tax is not charged to children under 16 years of age.

Emergency Phone
You will be provided with our office number should you need to speak with us. A mobile number will be facilitated to all clients to offer assistance outside office hours. You are kindly asked to solely use this telephone number, in case of a real emergency. Our team will do their best to help you solve any problems that might arise, but we cannot be held responsible for matters beyond our control. This service is purely assistance offered by us and does not replace official emergency services such as firemen, ambulance, police service, etc.
