You have several options to get around the Island of Mallorca, from car rental, booking a shuttle bus or using Public Transport Buses or Trains.
CAR RENTAL
Renting a car is one of the most versatile ways of getting around the Island. Although this can be an expensive method of transport, there are some good deals to be found online, particularly during low season.
BUSES
There are two types of Public Transport Buses operating in Mallorca, EMT and TIB.
From Palma Airport - EMT Airport to City and S'Arenal, TIB Resorts
From Palma Plaza de Espana - EMT City Urban, TIB Islandwide
PRIVATE TRANSFER BUSES
Private Transfer Buses - from Airport or for other journeys, ideal for groups.
TRAINS
You can take a train from Plaza de Espana in Palma to Inca, Manacor or Sa Pobla. It is a good method of transport in Mallorca with buses links from many of the stations. The Metro operates to the University and Marratxi and the Vintage train takes you Soller.
TAXIS
Travelling by taxi in Mallorca is easy and fairly inexpensive, especially if you are travelling as a family or group. You will find taxis at the Port and also at the Airport as you exit from the arrivals hall. There are normally designated areas in each resort or town where you will find the taxi rank.
