Health Care in Mallorca
Mallorca has several excellent Hospitals and numerous Health Centres with the latest technology and treatments available. There are also various Private Hospitals and Clinics where you can arrange a consultation appointment with a Doctor.
If you have an EHIC or GHIC card this will entitle you to free or reduced cost treatment in the Spanish Public Health system.
If you have travel insurance, this should cover most health care bills.

You will find many public Health Centres (Centro de Salud) around Mallorca. There are 20 primary care units on the Island.
Many Health Centres will be updating their telephone numbers to the call centre number 902 079 079 (from 0700-2100 Mon-Sat) Emergency Appointments also possible. You can ask to speak to an operator in English if your Spanish is not sufficient. If you are registered with a local health centre, you can make an appointment online:
