Tourist and Travel Information
The resort of Sa Coma is in the municipality of Sant Llorenc and has been expanding since the 1980s due to high demand for holiday accommodation.
Sa Coma is separated from the nearby tourist resort of Cala Millor by Punt de n'Amer which is a protected area of headland of almost 200 hectares. The beautiful white sandy beach has a Blue Flag and its shallow water is particularly popular with families especially those with young children.
If you walk along the promenade, you will arrive at S'Illot, a smaller and quieter resort.
Shopping
You will find two Chemists one on the main street, Avenida de Las Palmeras and the other near the Hotel Mediteranea Blau. There is a Carrefour Hypermarket, where you can buy everything from groceries to large electrical goods and household items. In the resort there are several souvenir shops and also a large sports shop.

Weekly Market
The resort holds a weekly market which is held from 1900 on Wednesdays during the Summer months. Alternatively you can visit the market in the nearby town of Son Servera on Friday mornings.
At this market you can buy the usual sunglasses, leather goods etc and also the local sausages (Embuits) or cheeses.
Sa Coma Riding School
There is a popular riding school and stables near to the beach where you can arrange lessons or treks into the Punt de n'Amer.
Car Hire
Car hire is easily available in the resort from one of the tour/ticket Offices or from one of the many hotel receptions.

Cala Millor and Cala Bona
The nearby resorts of Cala Millor and Cala Bona are very accessible. You can walk from Sa Coma although most people opt to travel by car or taxi. You could also take the local bus or use the little train which links the resorts
together. This runs several times a day
